I stayed at the Hotel Fenice Palace for two nights in May with a friend. Although it wasn’t our first choice of hotel I’m sure I would book it again and surely would recommend it to friends.
The staff are very friendly and accommodating, although we arrived early on our first day we were checked in without delay. The room was clean and very pleasant to stay in, the bathroom was equipped with bath as well as shower. The centre of the city was just outside our room window, we overlooked via Martelli and we could see the battistero from our room.

I know this hotel very well I have been there about 12 times. It’s delightfully positioned for all the sights of Florence. All of my friends to whom I’ve recommended the hotel have had the same impression. Rooms of satisfactory size and peaceful. Location as I said just perfect for the wonders of the city you’re visiting.

The location was just unbeatable, and I was very satisfied with our accommodation considering the price we paid. I stayed at the Fenice Palace for 3 nights in late Sept. Reception staff were friendly. The Duomo was just a few minutes walk away, the nearest supermarket only 5 mins. Breakfast was good compared to other hotels; another feature was the double glazed windows which kept the noise away from off the street. I really liked the hotel and would recommend it considering it has also been refurbished.
